Rakesh Jha has been named vice president of creative services for Viacom 18’s sports division (Sports18). Prior to joining Viacom18, he spent 9 years with Star Sports, where he oversaw the design team and was responsible for IPL, Cricket World Cup, Pro Kabaddi League, Badminton League, Hockey India League, and other events.
Jha specialises in brand development, broadcast design, virtual and physical set design, and in-depth technical knowledge, as well as a thorough understanding of industry trends and creative tools and software. He led the graphics unit at CNBC-TV18 for almost ten years before joining Star Sports. He has previously worked as a Viz Guru for Vizrt.
Jha is a Creative Director with over 20 years of expertise managing several projects while leading a diverse creative team and producing quality design.
