WOW Skin Science, a leading D2C beauty and wellness brand, has named Mrunmay Mehta as Chief Operating Officer for its Indian and international operations. Mrunmay will work closely with the company’s co-founders and major investors to create the company’s vision and accelerate growth at WOW Skin Science. Mrunmay will oversee online and offline GTM, D2C platform CX and growth, performance and brand marketing, finance, supply chain, customer service, HR, and foreign expansion.
Mrunmay comes to WOW Skin Science after a four-plus year stint as the Category Leader (General Manager) for Amazon India’s Beauty, Personal Care, and Luxury Beauty businesses, where he led cross-functional teams in category management, customer experience/product development, digital & content marketing, brand/vendor relations, store merchandising, and overall strategic planning and P&L delivery. Mrunmay previously worked at Unilever as the Director of Beauty & Personal Care Strategy for South Asia. He held several positions at Unilever, including brand innovation, brand building, and P&L/General Management, and was instrumental in reviving mass brands like Lifebuoy and Breeze, as well as driving accelerated penetration growth for premium brands like Dove, Pears, and Axe. He has also worked for Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, where he held positions in sales and marketing.
