BlueStone named Rumit Dugar as Chief Financial Officer

Rumit Dugar has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of BlueStone, India’s omni-channel fine jewellery destination (CFO). Rumit is among India’s top-rated analysts, according to Asiamoney, a renowned financial newspaper and affiliate of Euromoney, having over seventeen years of broad experience across numerous areas such as Technology, Fintech, and Equities Businesses. Rumit will lead the company’s entire finance operation, including controls and governance, capital access and allocation, and investor engagement, after he starts his new job at BlueStone.

Rumit has worked with companies such as J.P. Morgan, Infosys, and IDFC, to mention a few. He began his career in 2004 as an ERP consultant before moving to J.P. Morgan’s stocks unit. He has worked with investment banks in India, Europe, and Hong Kong, where he led the technology and telecom sectors. Rumit was previously the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Strategy at Niyogin Fintech, a publicly traded Fintech neo-banking platform that provides impact-centric solutions to MSMEs, and served on the boards of its subsidiaries in payments and wealth management. His experience includes the CFO’s office, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, and capital markets research.

In his new role at BlueStone, Rumit will be enhancing initiatives of market expansion and reaching targeted audiences across broader geographies by looking at ways of enhancing the brand’s capital base with strategic growth initiatives. Rumit holds an MBA in Finance from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research and a B.E. in Computer Science from VTU.
