apna.co named Sharechat’s Mithun Madhusudan as Head of Product- Communities

Apna.co, India’s leading job and professional networking website, has announced Mithun Madhusudan’s appointment as Head of Product – Communities. His appointment is in line with apna’s initiatives to invest in and attract world-class leadership to help the firm achieve its goal of empowering a billion people.

Mithun, an alumni of IIT KGP and IIM Bangalore, has a decade of experience in developing and scaling consumer-facing technology solutions. He’s worked in a variety of industries and created content platforms centred on content production, discovery, personalisation, and chat rooms. His area of expertise is boosting the consumer experience through video, social, content, and mobile innovations. He launched live audio chatrooms in his previous capacity at Sharechat and built it into a significant revenue-generating firm in less than a year. Mithun brings a global perspective to the table, having worked in Singapore, Hong Kong, and India.

Welcoming Mithun to the team, Karthik Manivannan, Chief Operating Officer of Communities at apna said “Mithun brings with him an in-depth understanding of consumers and industry best practices.
