Yotta Data Services, a comprehensive digital transformation service provider, has announced the appointment of Anil Pawar as Chief AI Officer and Head of the AI Cloud Business Unit. In this role, Anil will spearhead strategic initiatives within the AI Cloud BU, focusing on utilizing AI, cloud, and platform technologies to drive innovation and deliver substantial value to customers.
Anil will play a crucial role in shaping and executing Yotta’s AI strategy, using emerging AI technologies to enhance customer interactions and employee experiences in a responsible, trustworthy, and secure manner.
Reporting directly to Sunil Gupta, Anil will oversee strategic projects such as AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS), AI Platform-as-a-Service (AIPaaS), AI Software-as-a-Service (AISaaS), and the Large Language Model (LLM) marketplace within the Shakti Cloud Business Unit. His leadership will be essential in aligning technological investments with business goals, identifying market potential, and fostering collaboration to advance Yotta’s achievements.

His extensive experience, consistent record of tech innovation, including multiple US patents in various communication technologies, and exceptional leadership skills make him a valuable addition to the Yotta family.

With over 25 years of experience in networks, cloud, digital transformation, product development, and communications, Anil’s most recent position was as Head of Tech Strategy at Rakuten Japan, where he oversaw AI programs and AI cloud transformation initiatives. He has also been instrumental in establishing one of the world’s largest data-driven networks at Reliance Jio.
