In response to recent organizational structure changes, ICICI Bank Limited announced at its April 27, 2024 board meeting that Soumendra Mattagajasingh will be appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) effective May 1, 2024.
Effective April 30, 2024, at the close of business hours, Rajesh Iyer, Vikas Singhvi, Swanandi Phalnikar, Manish Maheshwari, Atul Kumar, Shamala Potnis, and Divyesh Shah will be removed from the senior management personnel category.
Soumendra Mattagajasingh, currently the Head of Business HR and Employee Relations, began his tenure with ICICI Bank in September 2002. He brings extensive expertise in business HR, employee relations, training, leadership development, and policy formation to his new role.
Before joining ICICI Bank, Mattagajasingh worked for HPCL and NMDC from 1997 to 2002. He holds a master’s degree in industrial relations from Berhampur University and has approximately 27 years of experience overall.
