Luminous Power Technologies, India’s leading power and energy brand, marked World Nature Conservation Day 2023 in a momentous manner, uniting its employees from all corners of the country to observe this significant occasion. Committed to the well-being of the planet, Luminous has embraced ‘Project LIFE’ (Luminous Initiatives For Environment), a platform through which they undertake various initiatives to promote a sustainable environment.
Under Project L.I.F.E., Luminous has set ambitious three-year targets for tree planting, aiming to combat deforestation, mitigate climate change, and restore ecosystems. This initiative embodies the company’s core values of corporate social responsibility and making a positive social impact, serving as a guiding light for environmental stewardship.
In partnership with the Green Dream Foundation, this conscious effort aims to contribute to local, national, and global conservation endeavors while addressing multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Over the past year, through Project LIFE, Luminous and the Green Dream Foundation have successfully planted over 7500 trees in Gurugram, Baddi, Gagret, Hosur, and Haridwar. Continuing with unwavering dedication, Luminous has planted an additional 6500 trees this year, extending their commitment to nurture and ensure the survival of these trees.
