Sanjay Shukla has assumed the role of Managing Director (MD) at the National Housing Bank (NHB). Prior to this appointment, he served as the Managing Director and CEO of Housing Finance at Centrum India. Selected from a pool of 16 candidates interviewed, Shukla underwent a rigorous selection process conducted by the Financial Services Institutions Bureau on April 9th and 10th, 2024.
With a rich professional background, Shukla has held key positions at esteemed financial institutions including ING Vysya Bank, Tata Capital Housing Finance Limited, Citi Bank, and Hometrust Housing Finance Limited (which later merged into HDFC Limited). A Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he also holds a degree from Christ Church College, Kanpur University.
