Motilal Oswal Private Equity has named Saptarshi Bhattacharya as its new Executive Group Vice President and Chief People Officer.
In an announcement on LinkedIn, Bhattacharya expressed his enthusiasm for this new role, stating, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Executive Group Vice President & Chief People Officer at Motilal Oswal Private Equity.”
Bhattacharya brings with him a wealth of experience, having spent over 16 years at Bajaj Allianz, where his most recent role was Head of Talent Acquisition. Reflecting on his tenure at Bajaj Allianz, Bhattacharya expressed his gratitude and excitement for the future, saying, “After an incredible journey at Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, spanning 16+ years, I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to the amazing teams, colleagues, mentors, and friends who have made this chapter so special. It’s been an honor to contribute to this organization and be a part of its growth. I’m excited about the new adventures ahead.”
Bhattacharya’s extensive expertise encompasses various aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, shared services, HR business partnering, HR analytics, and employee benefits. He is an alumnus of the Army Institute of Management, Kolkata, and holds an MBA in Human Resources. With his background and experience, Bhattacharya is well-positioned to contribute to Motilal Oswal Private Equity in his new role as Chief People Officer.
