Varthana Elevates Chandra Kumar CS to CHRO

Varthana, a non-banking finance company (NBFC), has recently announced the promotion of Chandra Kumar CS to the role of Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO). In addition to his existing responsibilities in leading Customer Experience, Chandra will now also oversee Varthana’s people strategy, drive talent and leadership development initiatives, foster diversity and inclusion efforts, enhance both employee and customer experiences, and cultivate a high-performance culture within the organization.

With an extensive background of over 20 years in human resources across diverse industries, Chandra possesses exceptional skills in cultivating organizational culture, fostering collaborative teams, and developing employees through effective mentorship and coaching programs.

Prior to that, at Tata Communications, Chandra played a pivotal role in implementing comprehensive HR strategies, policies, practices, and systems for the company’s Global Enterprise Solutions Business units.
