upGrad named Saurabh Deep Singla as CHRO

Saurabh Deep Singla has been appointed as the Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) of upGrad, effective July 13th.

Saurabh will be responsible for developing a strategic roadmap for upGrad and its divisions, as well as addressing HR complexities across levels in order to drive sustainable growth. He has over two decades of experience in corporate and business HR roles. In his previous role as Chief People Officer (CPO) at Ecom Express Ltd., he was responsible for leading the end-to-end e-commerce pipeline by fueling the business with agile and focused talent across 3000+ geographies, resulting in year-on-year growth for the brand.

An XLRI Jamshedpur alumnus, Singla has also worked with leading international and national organisations like G4S, Rio Tinto Group, Whirlpool, and Bharti Airtel and has led cross-geo businesses and workforce through his expertise in the areas of Design Thinking, Business Model Innovation, and Talent Management,
