BharatPe named Smriti Handa as Chief Human Resources Officer

Smriti Handa has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer at BharatPe, one of India’s fastest growing Fintech startups. Smriti will work closely with BharatPe’s Senior Leadership Team in her new capacity, focusing on developing the company’s organisational culture and HR procedures with the goal of making BharatPe an employer of choice. This is BharatPe’s first important leadership appointment of the year.

Smriti is a graduate of SRCC, Delhi University, and MDI, Gurgaon, and has worked in global and local capacities for companies like as Reckitt Benckiser, Philips, and Airtel. Smriti worked as HR Head, Reckitt Hygiene- SoA before becoming Global Talent Acquisition Director at BharatPe. Smriti has worked closely with business and HR leadership over the years to develop business impact that is rooted in people, performance, and purpose. She has a track record of delivering on inclusivity, as well as a digitally superior and ownership-driven work environment, in all of her previous roles.
