Amazon’s Pranav Merchant has joined GoKwik as Head of Operations. GoKwik is an e-commerce enablement startup on a goal to revolutionise the D2C eCommerce purchasing experience. Pranav will be the key visionary for strategizing the organization’s overall operational intricacies, stakeholder management, and driving the brand’s goal to be a preferred partner of D2C eCommerce merchants for all their conversion, cart abandonment, Return to Origin, and Customer acquisition costs problems in his new role.
He will be putting customer insights into action and working with upstream and downstream teams to create a more scalable and adaptable solution that merchants can use, thanks to his extensive experience and understanding of organisational development.
Prior to joining GoKwik, Pranav had senior positions at Amazon, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, and Aditya Birla Group, where he oversaw operational setup and process stabilisation. He spearheaded the formation of a new node for the Compliance Operations team at Amazon in Pune, which grew to 900+ people over the last five years. As a seasoned leader, he oversaw a team of 1400 individuals spread across Pune and Bangalore. Pranav has worked in the banking and e-commerce industries and has over 20 years of expertise in stakeholder and people management, project scoping and completion, rolling out multimillion-dollar operational applications, client-vendor communication, and stakeholder and people management.

GoKwik’s current employee strength is 150+ and is growing 80% quarter to quarter in a completely remote setup. GoKwik has raised more than INR 150 crores in capital and is backed by prominent investors, including Sequoia Capital India, Matrix Partners India, RTP Global, and marquee angels.
