Srishti Behl Arya has joined Phantom Films as CEO. She left Netflix as Director Of International Original Films in May of last year after a three-year stint.
Arya worked for Netflix’s Vice-President of Content for India, Monika Shergill. She has commissioned and financed a slate of original film titles for the service, including Guilty, AK vs AK, Bulbbul, and Serious Men, as well as Paava Kadhaigal and Pitta Kathalu, the service’s debut Tamil and Telugu films.
She was also the Founder and Director of Rose Audiovisuals Pvt. Ltd. for over 17 years. She spent two years as the Producers Guild of India’s Vice President (Digital & Television). Jury at International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and also for the International Emmy Awards in 2014 and 2016. She was a jury for Large Short Films at Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI) in 2017.
