HDFC Onboards Lights Out Studio to enhance the Bank’s Digital Customer Experience


HDFC Bank, India’s leading bank onboards Lights Out Studio, a nuanced product studio headquartered out of Bengaluru to redesign and enhance the bank’s customer experience.

HDFC has been a formidable player in the banking industry in India. In a move to adapt to the digital age and attract the online banking millennial as a customer, HDFC is now redesigning it’s entire design & experience to meet global standards in digital banking. It thus collaborated with Lights Out Studio headed by Adil Singh & Saksham Mendiratta – the entrepreneurial duo that has worked on multiple high-growth brands like CureFit, Kapiva, Fittr, The Souled Store and now HDFC, to name a few. With their specialization in creating visually emphatic customer  experiences, they’ve grown massively in the past year and are working with high growth consumer brands to shape the future of digital commerce.

Ashish Morone, Senior Vice President & Head of Marketing at HDFC Bank said, “Banking has changed rapidly in the past one year. Consumers are not just transacting online, but also spending hours on online experiences. If you didn’t evolve with this turning tide, you’d be left out. Activities like this in large banks happen once in a decade and hence this is an important milestone for us for the next 10 years”
