Kanika Bedi joins Nokia as regional communications manager

New Delhi: Nokia has appointed Kanika Bedi as its Regional Communications Manager, where she will lead the company’s media relations strategy for its India operations.

Bedi announced her new role through a LinkedIn post, expressing excitement about returning to Nokia and taking on a leadership role in the company’s communications function.

“Some journeys have a way of bringing you back to where they began. I’m excited to share that I have joined Nokia as Regional Communications Manager, leading media relations for India,” she wrote.

Strengthening Nokia’s Communications Leadership

In her new role, Kanika Bedi will be responsible for managing media relations and strengthening Nokia’s communications strategy across India, one of the company’s key global markets.

Her appointment comes as technology companies continue to focus on strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and brand positioning amid rapid advancements in digital infrastructure, telecommunications, and enterprise technology.

Extensive Experience in Corporate Communications

Kanika Bedi brings significant experience in corporate communications, executive positioning, media relations, sustainability, and reputation management.

Before joining Nokia, she spent nearly two years at PersonaKraft, where she worked as a Corporate Communication Strategist and Employee Advocacy Trainer. During her tenure, she advised founders, business leaders, and senior executives on corporate communications, thought leadership, executive visibility, and personal branding.

Leadership Across Global Brands

Prior to PersonaKraft, Bedi served as Corporate Communications Lead at Reckitt, where she managed strategic communications initiatives.

Earlier in her career, she spent more than five years with The Coca-Cola Company, handling communications and sustainability-related responsibilities.

She also worked for nearly five years at Ericsson, where she held roles across Media Relations and Corporate Communications, gaining extensive experience in the telecommunications sector.

Her early career included positions at 20:20 MEDIA and as a correspondent for theviewspaper.net, laying the foundation for her communications and media expertise.
