Pepperfry named Shubbam Sharrma as Chief Growth Officer

Pepperfry, India’s leading e-commerce platform for furniture and home decor, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Shubbam Sharrma as its new Chief Growth Officer (CGO). With an impressive 17-year career spanning retail, e-commerce, and omnichannel growth, Shubbam brings a wealth of expertise that will be instrumental in driving Pepperfry’s ambitious growth strategies, expanding market presence, and deepening its focus on customer-driven innovation.

As CGO, Shubbam will spearhead initiatives to accelerate the company’s growth across key areas. His focus will include expanding Pepperfry’s market share, enhancing customer acquisition, and optimizing operational efficiency. With a strategic mandate to strengthen the Home Categories, launch new product segments, and widen the company’s B2B footprint, Shubbam will also lead initiatives like the Multi-tiered Channel Partner Program. Further, he will explore new opportunities for B2B growth, including forging partnerships with the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering) industry and corporate clients, ensuring Pepperfry remains at the forefront of the evolving home decor and furniture market.

Before joining Pepperfry, Shubbam served as Chief Business Officer at ImpactGuru, where he led the company’s growth across multiple cities and optimized its operations, marketing, and HR processes. He also held the position of Used Cars P&L Head at CarDekho, where he helped establish the company as a market leader in the used car retail segment. Additionally, Shubbam has consulting experience with leading firms such as KSA Technopak and RedSeer, advising consumer internet and traditional retail companies on growth strategies, digital transformation, and market expansion.

Shubbam holds an MBA from IIM Lucknow and a B.Tech from the College of Engineering Roorkee. Outside of his professional life, Shubbam is passionate about researching consumer brands, listening to podcasts, and practicing yoga and meditation.
