Homegrown health and wellness platform Healthify (formerly Healthifyme) has undergone another round of layoffs, impacting approximately 150 employees. This follows a similar headcount reduction in December 2023, where 150 positions were cut across various departments.
The company has characterized the latest job cuts as a restructuring exercise. Sales and product teams appear to be most significantly affected.
Healthify is reportedly offering a two-month severance package to those impacted. Additionally, the company is extending insurance coverage, providing job placement assistance, and accelerating stock vesting for some employees. They are also offering leave encashment.
This news comes amidst a larger trend of consolidation within the Indian tech sector, where companies are re-evaluating their workforces to optimize operations.
