Bhaskar Basu has been appointed as Country Head – Enterprise Partnerships at Microsoft India & South Asia, marking a strategic elevation in his 14-year journey with the tech giant.
In this pivotal role, Bhaskar will lead Microsoft’s efforts to drive co-innovation with its most strategic partners—including GSIs, ISVs, enterprise solution builders, and software development firms. His core focus will be on enabling AI-powered digital transformation for customers across the region, while scaling partner-led growth in one of the most dynamic technology markets globally.
Throughout his Microsoft tenure, Bhaskar has held a range of impactful leadership positions across product marketing, business development, and modern workplace solutions. Most recently, as Senior Director – Modern Work Solutions & Devices, he played a key role in expanding the footprint of Microsoft 365 and Surface among enterprise customers.
His previous leadership roles—Director, Strategic Partnerships; Director, Enterprise Services Sales; and Chief of Staff to the MD—highlight his strength in aligning long-term business vision with strategic execution.
🎓 An IIM Bangalore alumnus, Bhaskar’s experience also includes leadership positions at Sun Microsystems and early consulting stints with Oracle, equipping him with deep insights into both partner ecosystems and enterprise tech evolution.
With his cross-functional expertise and partner-first mindset, Bhaskar is set to shape the next chapter of Microsoft’s enterprise transformation journey in the region.
