Livspace, India’s leading home interiors and design services platform, has joined as the title sponsor of Delhi Redz, one of the six teams competing in the country’s inaugural Rugby Premier League (RPL). The much-anticipated league officially kicked off on June 15, introducing Rugby Sevens to a mainstream Indian audience for the first time.
Delhi Redz: A Powerhouse Team for a Historic League
Owned by RMZ Corp, the Delhi Redz will compete against five other teams: Mumbai Dreamers, Bengaluru Bravehearts, Chennai Bulls, Hyderabad Heroes, and Kalinga Black Tigers. The team has assembled an international line-up of players from Ireland, Kenya, Argentina, Spain, Hong Kong, Canada, Germany, and India.
Leading the team is Matías Osadczuk, who represented Argentina at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. He will be supported by international stars including Matteo Graziano, considered one of the world’s top Sevens players, and Patrick Odongo, a rising star from the Kenya Sevens squad.
The Delhi Redz are coached by the legendary Tomasi Cama, a Fijian-born Rugby Sevens icon and the all-time leading points scorer for the All Blacks Sevens. Cama, who was named World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year in 2012, brings unmatched expertise and global recognition to the team.
