Kinara Capital, a leading fintech advancing last-mile MSME financial inclusion, has announced the appointment of Parthasarathy N. S. (Partha) as an Independent Director on its Board of Directors (BoD). Partha brings over 35 years of experience in Information Technology, with a distinguished career in engineering, organizational development, and capacity building. He is notably recognized as the Co-founder of Mindtree, where he played a key role in growing the company from its startup phase to surpassing the $1 billion revenue milestone as a publicly listed entity.
In his role as Independent Director, Partha will also serve as the Chair of the IT Strategy Committee for Kinara Capital. His emphasis on human-centric design and impact-oriented technological solutions, combined with extensive start-up mentorship experience, is expected to provide valuable insights to Kinara.

Currently, Partha is a Managing Partner at Mela Ventures, where he focuses on fostering tech entrepreneurship to address real-world problems. Previously, he spent over two decades leading Mindtree, a global technology consulting and digital solutions company, where he served as Vice Chairman and COO. Partha’s earlier career includes over 14 years at Wipro’s R&D team and service on the NASSCOM IT Services Council to enhance market access for Indian start-ups.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Partha is known for his philanthropic efforts. He is a Founding Director of the WeLive Foundation, which supports young orphans transitioning out of childcare institutions, and has also served as Director for the White Swan Foundation for Mental Health.
Parthasarathy N. S. (Partha) joined Kinara Capital’s Board of Directors on April 29, 2024, and took on the role of Chair of the IT Strategy Committee on August 6, 2024. His appointment brings the total number of Independent Directors on Kinara’s BoD to four.
Kinara Capital’s Board of Directors now comprises 1/3 independent directors and 1/3 women representatives, with a total of 13 members: Sunil Gulati, Arvind Kodikal, Arunprakash Srinivasarao Korati, Parthasarathy N.
