Axis Finance Limited has appointed Praveen Mishra as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Senior Vice President (SVP). In his previous role as Deputy Vice President, Mishra managed regulatory audits, ensured adherence to industry standards, and oversaw compliance with technological regulations. Following his promotion to Vice President, he led regulatory compliance projects, developed and implemented compliance plans, and provided guidance on regulatory issues to ensure the bank’s technological operations met all legal and regulatory standards.
During his tenure at Axis Bank, Mishra demonstrated a strong commitment to maintaining robust compliance frameworks and fostering a culture of regulatory excellence. He is renowned for creating IT risk frameworks, conducting IT audits, ensuring compliance, guaranteeing business continuity, and implementing ISO standards. As a strategic leader in IT risk and security, Mishra excels in developing IT security strategies, approving budgets, and implementing risk mitigation measures with a focus on user experience.
Mishra’s career trajectory includes roles from Operations Trainee to Head of Control Assurance Services. He has also served as AVP of IB Tech Control Audit and Manager of Corporate Security and Business Continuity.
