Lenovo Security Solutions has named Shaik J. Ahmed as its new Head of Security Solutions for India. Ahmed brings extensive experience from his previous roles at Renault Nissan Technology and Business Centre India Private Ltd. (RNTBCI) as Head of Information Security and Data Protection Officer, Mashreq Bank as Vice President and Head of Information Security-Risk & Governance, and Virtusa as Global Head of Cyber Security Consulting and Advisory Services.
Ahmed’s main focus at Lenovo will be to expand the company’s security offerings across India. “In today’s digital world, robust security solutions are no longer a luxury but a necessity,” Ahmed stated. “I’m excited to leverage my experience to help Indian businesses navigate the evolving security landscape and empower them with best-in-class solutions from Lenovo,” he added.
With over 25 years of expertise in cybersecurity and consulting, Ahmed holds an MBA from Amity University. His areas of expertise include cyber resilience, application security, vulnerability management, Security Operations Center (SOC), Internet of Things (IoT) security, cyber threat management, and counter-threat intelligence.
