Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Buildings & Factories (B&F) division has recently secured multiple significant orders across India, further solidifying its position as a leader in the construction and engineering sectors.
One notable order comes from the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology in Hyderabad. B&F will be constructing a super-speciality hospital at Gachibowli. This extensive project will encompass civil structures, finishes, façade, interiors, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) services, paramedical facilities, and external development tasks, including landscaping. The total built-up area for this project is an impressive 1.1 million square feet, underscoring B&F’s capability in handling large-scale healthcare infrastructure.
In addition to the hospital project, B&F has secured an order from a prestigious client for constructing a substantial office space in Mumbai. This project will feature an approximate built-up area of 1.3 million square feet, including civil and composite steel structures for a building with 2 basements, a ground floor, 6 parking levels, and 18 office floors. Scheduled to be completed within 20 months, this project highlights customer confidence in B&F’s proficiency in executing fast-track steel structures using composite steel technology.
