Moder has named Sowmya Aswath as Vice President of Human Resources and APAC HR Head.
With over 20 years of experience in HR management, Sowmya brings extensive expertise to fostering a thriving organizational culture. Her career encompasses a wide range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, talent management, and HR operations and transformation.

Sowmya has a proven track record of delivering results across various HR specialties, including HR business partnering, talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, and HR operations and transformation. She is known for her passion for achieving results through a shared vision and is regarded as a team player with a focus on execution.
As a well-rounded HR practitioner, Sowmya’s roles have spanned various stages of enterprise growth cycles and have encompassed country, regional, and global levels.
Prior to joining Moder, Sowmya served as Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition Enablement at State Street. Her previous experience includes roles at AXA and Firstsource.
Sowmya holds a PGCHRM in Human Resources Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from Kuvempu University.
