L’Oréal India named Raagjeet Garg as Director – Consumer Products Division

L’Oréal India has announced the appointment of Raagjeet Garg as the Director of the Consumer Products Division (CPD). He will succeed Pankaj Sharma, who has been promoted to Managing Director of the Consumer Products Division for L’Oréal Australia and New Zealand.

In his new capacity, Raagjeet will spearhead the accelerated growth of L’Oréal India CPD, which encompasses renowned brands such as L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline New York, and NYX Professional Makeup. His mandate includes driving market expansion strategies, fostering innovation in product development, optimizing marketing and distribution channels, and upholding the brand’s dual mission of valorisation and democratisation.

Aseem Kaushik, Managing Director of L’Oréal India, expressed his enthusiasm about Raagjeet’s appointment, stating, “I am delighted to welcome back Raagjeet as Director of the Consumer Products Division in India. His strategic acumen and data-driven approach will fortify our vision of becoming India’s leading beauty advisor. Raagjeet’s leadership will play a pivotal role in our transformation journey towards becoming a pioneering Beauty Tech company.”

Raagjeet brings over two decades of experience in the personal care and beauty industry. His tenure with L’Oréal began in May 2009, during which he successfully launched Garnier Men in India. He later assumed leadership roles, including overseeing the Ecommerce business for L’Oréal Paris in India, driving substantial growth during his tenure. Raagjeet also served as the General Manager of L’Oréal Paris in Australia and as the Business Head for the Consumer Products Division in Vietnam.

Expressing his excitement about returning to L’Oréal India, Raagjeet stated, “India is where my journey with the L’Oréal Group began, and I am thrilled to be back.
