Merck, a leading science and technology company, has named Dhananjay Singh as the Managing Director of Merck Life Science in India, effective April 1. This appointment comes in addition to his current role as Head of Science & Lab Solutions Commercial, India.
Dhananjay succeeds Sreenath NS, who is retiring after an illustrious 36-year tenure with Merck in India. In his new position, Dhananjay will steer the Life Science strategy in India, ensuring adherence to governance and compliance standards alongside other leaders from Merck’s businesses in the country.
With 26 years of dedicated service at Merck, Dhananjay has played a pivotal role in shaping the Science and Lab Solutions Commercial business in India. He has held various leadership positions within the Commercial Organization before assuming the role of Head of Science & Lab Solutions Commercial for India in 2022.
