Piyush Mehta, Genpact forward-thinking Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), has recently assumed an additional role as the Country Manager for India. This strategic move aligns with Genpact’s ongoing focus on an AI-first strategy, driven by the burgeoning demand for advanced AI enterprise services in the Indian market.
Having played a pivotal role in shaping Genpact HR strategy for nearly 25 years, dating back to its inception within GE, Piyush has been instrumental in fostering a strong, purpose-driven culture within the organization. His tenure as CHRO, beginning in 2005, coincided with Genpact’s spinoff from GE and subsequent listing on the New York Stock Exchange in 2007.

This initiative, spearheaded by Chief Strategy Officer Katie Stein, aims to leverage generative AI to enhance productivity, mitigate risks, and elevate both employee and customer experiences.
