Brown-Forman Corporation (NYSE: BFA, BFB), an American-owned spirits company and the owner of Jack Daniel’s, has appointed Gaurav Sabharwal as managing director for India & South Asia.
With over two decades of experience in beverage and consumer goods companies, Gaurav brings extensive expertise in the alcoholic beverage industry across multiple geographies in Asia, including the Indian sub-continent, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. His professional journey includes over 14 years with Pernod Ricard, where he held various leadership roles focused on driving strategic and transformational projects in India, Singapore, and Dubai. Prior to joining Brown-Forman, Gaurav also held commercial leadership positions at Diageo.
In his new capacity, Gaurav will oversee Brown-Forman’s operations in the high-growth and strategic markets of India and South Asia, reporting to Eveline Albarracin, VP, managing director of Brown-Forman ANZPI IMENA Turkiye. He will be based out of Gurugram.
