Vivek Gupta, formerly the business’s EVP and Head of Engineering, has been promoted to the position of Chief Technical Officer, according to CoinDCX, India’s largest and most valuable cryptocurrency company (CTO). As the CTO, Vivek will be the company’s technological advocate and play a key role in creating and developing for the business and ecosystem as a whole.
Vivek’s new position will require him to lay the groundwork for onboarding new users while also improving and streamlining the user experience and product experience for CoinDCX’s 15 million customers. In order to further streamline the user experience through a safe and dependable platform and value-driven web3 solutions, he will lead innovations and capability-building initiatives. He is the team leader of a skilled group of 190 people who work in engineering, data science, devops, and infrastructure.
In his previous role at CoinDCX, Vivek placed a strong emphasis on consistently improving the product experience, ensuring that the platform strengthens its usability for its customers. Considering the nascency of the industry, he was instrumental in developing and building several technologies from the ground up, and laying the foundation for the ecosystem to grow on. He was the driving force behind the technology for CoinDCX’s DeFi initiative, Okto, a self-custody wallet, and making it risk-proof.
