Cheil India named Umesh Bopche as CEO for digital agency Experience Commerce

Umesh Bopche has been named the new CEO of Cheil India’s digital agency, Experience Commerce.

Bopche will be in charge of putting Experience Commerce (EC) on a fast track to success. Experience Commerce will position itself as a holistic, full-service agency under his guidance, offering and developing new service lines and verticals for existing and new clients.

Through EC Studio, he will also be in charge of the live commerce practise and content/film studio for all Cheil clients, including Samsung.

Bopche has over 20 years of experience as a leader in the media, digital, content, technology, and internet industries, with a track record of strong retention, high growth, and building A+ talent teams.

Prior to joining EC, Bopche worked for top media and entertainment conglomerates such as Prime Focus Group, Times of India Group (Print), and Times Internet Ltd (Digital Business), where he was exposed to various aspects of traditional and new-age media while assisting brands in achieving their advertising and communication goals.

Tata Sky, ICICI, Dabur, Amazon, HUL, Big Bazaar, Marico, OPPO, Xiaomi, Tata Motors, Ford, TVS, ITC, Procter & Gamble, Emami, L’Oréal, Myntra, Soch, and Free Fire are just a few of the prominent brands with which he has worked.
