IKEA India named Adosh Sharma as Country Expansion Manager

Adosh Sharma has been named as the new Country Expansion Manager for IKEA’s India division. IKEA (part of the Ingka Group) is the world’s leading Swedish home furnishings store. Adosh, a seasoned IKEA executive, will succeed Per Hornell as part of the IKEA India management team, reporting to Susanne Pulverer, CEO-CSO.

Adosh will manage IKEA India’s ambitious omnichannel expansion and growth ambitions to serve many more people in India as Country Expansion Manager. Adosh previously worked for a global retailer/Marks & Spencer in Dubai as the General Manager Buying Merchandising & Planning for the MENA (Middle East North Africa) area.

Adosh has over 20 years of experience in the retail industry, having worked in India, the Middle East, and North Africa. Prior to this, Adosh worked for IKEA Franchises since 2008, and he has experience in Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. He most recently served as a General Manager for Al Futtaim, where he was responsible for market expansion, operations, brand marketing, strategy, and profitability for brands such as John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, and Eggo.
