Zypp Electric, India’s leading EV-as-a-Service platform for last-mile delivery, today announced the promotion of Tushar Mehta to Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, with a strong focus on growth and expansion (COO). This is in keeping with the company’s ongoing commitment to sustained expansion, which includes expanding its leadership team and strategically attaining operational efficiency goals in order to capture a larger market in the fiscal year.
Tushar joined Zypp as Business Head last year and has worked closely with the founding team to achieve operational excellence and business objectives since then. Tushar’s primary responsibilities in his new post will be to scale Zypp’s overall business and ensure long-term growth strategies. He will be in charge of leading Zypp in developing more solutions to address the delivery and mobility issues in the EV space. He has significant prior experience as a member of the leadership team at two of the country’s most renowned mobility and automotive companies, Ola Cabs and Cars24.

Zypp Electric’s EV-as-a-Service business has been buzzing in the Indian market since its inception and has given access to thousands of logistics businesses and delivery executives to go Electric. The company further plans to proliferate its revenue to 10X in the next financial year and 100X by 2025. It also plans to deploy 20K electric vehicles in 2022 and 1.5L electric vehicles by 2025 to achieve its sustainable business model in India to make it a carbon emission-free nation.
