Mathangi Sri has been appointed as the Chief Data Officer of CredAvenue. Mathangi comes to CredAvenue from Gojek, a Southeast Asian integrated technology organisation, where she was the Head of Data Organization for GoFood, Gojek’s food division.
She has extensive expertise developing high-impact data science solutions and products at scale for both large corporations and high-growth startups. Mathangi has accumulated significant intellectual property as a data leader, having published 20 global patents in the fields of data science and machine learning. She has led data science teams at a number of well-known companies, including PhonePe and Citibank.

In her last role at Gojek, she focussed on the data strategy for GoFood by architecting and building several AI & ML solutions which resulted in driving large scale impact for the business. As one of the top 50 AI leaders in the country, Mathangi has also been recognised as “The Phenomenal SHE” by Indian National Bar Association in 2019 and as ”AI Changemaker Leader” by 3AI Association in 2022.
