upGrad, Asia’s leading higher education technology company, announced the hiring of Mr. Vikram Vyas as Vice President – Growth, International Sales for the APAC and EMEA markets. The move is part of upGrad’s plan to expand its activities in the worldwide higher education industry. Vikram’s new responsibility will include growing the company’s global presence and achieving a dominant market share.
Vikram Vyas is an industry veteran with over 20 years of expertise servicing and directing sales growth for customers in e-commerce, banking, insurance, hospitality, telecom, and education, among others, spanning countries and cultures. Vikram has devised effective sales approaches, strategies, and tactics based on market feedback in the past, and has also played a key role in the establishment of PAN Omni channel customer-touchpoint units for generating profitability. He has a natural interest in EdTech since he feels it has the potential to revolutionise the future of working professionals. Vikram will be in charge of the brand’s ambitious and aggressive expansion ambitions, as well as action plans to scale the business across APAC and EMEA.
