India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt Ltd. announced today that Mr. Eishin Chihana has been named Chairman of the Group’s India business.
Since 1991, Mr. Eishin Chihana has worked for Yamaha Motor Company and its group firms all around the world. He has extensive experience in sales, marketing, and business management, with a particular focus on motorcycle business operations throughout Europe, North America, Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. He has also managed the international sales of a wide range of Yamaha Motor’s product lines, including motorcycles, ATVs, marine engines, personal watercraft, and generators, in addition to motorcycles.
Commenting on his new role, Eishin Chihana, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group of Companies said, “I am very excited to lead Yamaha Motor in the world’s largest two-wheeler market.
