Joyeeta Chatterjee, the Human Resources leader, has over 25 years of experience in roles such as Head HR, HR Global COE Leader, and large-scale business and process transformation. Managed HR Leadership responsibilities on the Board of Directors and experience working in organisations with strict compliance standards.
Chatterjee, who was previously the Chief People Officer of Future Consumers, has been named the new VP-HR of Biocon.
Chatterjee is known for developing and implementing human resource strategies in a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, FMCG, retail, e-commerce, telecommunications, product technology, and infrastructure, with teams based in India, Asia, North America, parts of Europe, and the Middle East.
She has experience working in both global MNCs and Indian family-owned businesses, with a focus on HR Business Partnering and developing strong people practises in the areas of talent, change management, leadership hiring, employer branding, total rewards, career journeys, mergers and acquisitions, and learning. She also has a good sense of diagnosis and domain to help establish organisational culture, engagement strategies for employee retention, and impact for growth.
