New-york Based Market Intelligence Platform Alphasense Raises $180m

AlphaSense, a market intelligence and search platform based in New York, has raised $180 million in Series C funding led by Viking Global Investors and Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Growth Equity business, as well as existing investors Morgan Stanley, Citi Bank, Bank of America, Barclays, Wells Fargo Strategic Capital, Cowen Inc., and AllianceBernstein.

In July 2019, the firm raised $50 million in a Series B round from investors including Innovation Endeavors, Jim Simons’ Euclidean Capital, Soros Fund Management, and Tribeca Venture Partners.
