Amit M. Punchhi has joined the founding team as President of Loop Health, a VC-backed firm that delivers inexpensive health insurance and primary care. Loop Health’s aim of revolutionising corporate health insurance will benefit from Amit’s expertise and experience as a leader.
Amit has 30 years of expertise in global financial services, most recently as CBO and CIO of HDFC Life’s Executive Council. Between 2010 and 2017, Amit served as the CEO of Reinsurance Group of America (RGA) in Hong Kong, where he oversaw numerous operations in multiple countries.
Commenting on his appointment Mayank Kale, CEO, Loop Health said, “Amit has been part of Loop Health’s journey since the beginning. He had invested in Loop Health a year ago as an angel investor in our seed round. We are thrilled to have Amit onboard given his expertise and experience in the insurance and financial services sector.
