Flipkart, which is owned by Walmart, has announced that the eighth iteration of its flagship event, The Big Billion Days (TBBD), will take place from October 7 to 12.
According to a release, millions of customers, merchants, small companies, artists, Kiranas, brands, and ecommerce ecosystem partners will attend the six-day event.
The Big Billion Days this year will provide various new chances for domestic companies and sellers to celebrate with consumers across the country, from metros to tier II cities and beyond, according to the announcement.
Ecommerce companies see a huge portion of their business come in during the holiday sales, so they invest heavily ahead of time to increase capacity and add features in order to accommodate the surge in orders while maintaining a seamless experience for both customers and sellers.
