Infobip, a global cloud communications company, has added Vishal Gandhi as the Head of Mobile Network Operator (MNO) Partnerships to its strategic communications team. He comes to us with 17 years of expertise in the Indian and international telecoms industries.

Vishal was a key part of MTN Global Connect’s success storey before joining Infobip, overseeing sales for their International A2P, which has a footprint across Africa and the Middle East. At MTN, he was also in charge of Market Management for the International Voice Business. Vishal has also extensively worked within the voice industry with telecom giants such as Reliance and Vodafone in India before moving out to Singapore to join BICS to manage their South Asia region for all voice and mobile data services. Vishal has a sound understanding of building an ecosystem with a win-win proposition that creates value for all its stakeholders.

At Infobip, Vishal will continue to simplify and improve how brands connect, engage, and meet customer expectations in the global realm by partnering with telecom operators. In addition, the emphasis would be on enhancing Infobip’s digital customer service strategy to present a 360-degree experience. As Infobip emerges on the customer experience front, the partnership approach with the MNOswould aim at bringing in additional value, growth, and revenue jointly, by offering Infobip solutions to their customers with zero-touch configuration. He also aspires to widen the reach for new-age solutions in the region, such as Mobile Identity and RCS, among others.

Vishal Gandhi resonates: “As a purpose-led business, I was struck by Infobip’s commitment to building diverse boards and leadership teams to deliver positive operator market change at a time when leadership is more important than ever. I am looking forward immensely to working with the team as we continue to take the business forward.”

Harsha Solanki, Managing Director at Infobip, commented on his appointment, “This is an exciting time for Infobip. Vishal’s deep experience in Telecommunications and Market Management, together with his collaborative leadership style, will be pivotal in ensuring Infobip meets its strategic objective and continues to thrive. With Vishal, we hope to strengthen and lead customer experience (CX) in the region and widen the scope of functionality of cloud communications, in collaboration with the MNOs.”
