Seagate Technology Holdings plc unveiled the FireCudaTM 530, its newest PC gaming SSD. The new drive features the company’s latest PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD technology and the fastest performance from its PC gaming storage solutions, bringing speed, endurance, and large capacity to the pinnacle of PC performance.
The FireCuda 530 catalyses PCIe Gen4 power with sequential read speeds up to 7300 MB/s, which is two times faster than PCIe Gen3 SSDs and 12 times faster than SATA-based SSDs. The drive has a Seagate-validated E18 controller and the newest 3D TLC NAND to deliver the fastest and most durable performance for PC gaming. Seagate also provides a minimalistic heatsink option, which replaces cooling fins with a more large, high-grade metal block with a finely textured finish to maximise cooling.
