Hype Luxury, a Bengaluru-based luxury car rental firm, has acquired an unknown amount in Pre-Series A funding from Razorpay co-founders Harshil Mathur and Shashank Kumar’s new early-stage startup fund MarsShot Ventures, according to a release.
Speaking about the funding, Raghav Belavadi, Founder and CEO of Hype Luxury mobility, said: “Everything Hype does is on the backbone of the strong and secured payment gateway supported by Razorpay. Harshil is fond of driving luxury cars. That way, we both share a lot of mutual respect and admiration. I am betting on the invaluable network that they bring on board in our growth phase, especially in our international expansion.”
MarsShot Ventures is a newly formed company that has made dozens of innovation investments. The majority of the investments have been made in the Seed and Pre-Series-A rounds.
According to the announcement, MarsShot has invested for the first time in a luxury company with a large premium customer base in India with its investment in Hype Luxury.
