The Tata Tigor EV is now available in India, with a starting price of Rs 11.99 lakh. The vehicle abandons the Tigor EV architecture in favour of Tata’s new Ziptron architecture. After the Tata Nexon EV, the Tigor EV is Tata’s second model to be built on the Ziptron platform. The all-new Tigor EV is available in two colour schemes and three trim levels: XE, XM, and XZ+. A dual-tone variant of the XZ+ is also available.
The Tata Tigor EV has a lithium-ion battery pack with a capacity of 26 kWh. A rapid charger, according to Tata Motors, can charge the battery from 0% to 80% in under 60 minutes. A regular home wall charger, on the other hand, would take about 8.5 hours. The battery pack will be covered by an 8-year or 1.6-lakh-kilometer warranty from Tata Motors. IP67 certification is also given to the Lithium-ion battery pack. The Tigor EV is ARAI approved to have a driving range of up to 306 kilometres on a single charge, according to Tata Motors.
A permanent magnet synchronous electric motor drives the electric notchback. It has been adjusted to produce 74 horsepower and 170 Nm of torque.
The variant wise pricing on the new Tigor EV is as follows:

Tata Tigor EV XM – Rs 12.49 lakh
Tata Tigor EV XZ+ – Rs 12.99 lakh
