Yojana Gawade has been named Director – Personnel and Organization (P&O) for India by MARS Petcare, a global leader in pet nutrition and care. Yojana will be in charge of Pet Nutrition India’s human resources (HR) function, as well as the company’s people strategy and execution. A significant goal will be to strengthen a diverse and inclusive work culture.
Yojana has over 14 years of expertise in the people function, covering business partnership and center-of-excellence verticals. She has worked for multinational corporations, most recently at Mondelez India Foods as the Asia Pacific and Middle East Capability Lead. She was in charge of designing and deploying leadership roadmaps across six business units, as well as working on embedding them.
Before that, Yojana served as the company’s Organization Effectiveness Lead and anchored various culture and diversity programs. She extensively partnered with integrated supply chain and sales functions for their transformation and change management agendas. She was also the Talent Management Lead for the business units in Malaysia and was pivotal in establishing commercial career paths and entry talent programs.
