According to its Board of Directors, Matrimonial.com, India’s top online matrimony company, has inked definitive agreements to acquire a 100 percent investment in Boatman Tech Private Limited, the founders of ShaadiSaga.com (a Delhi-based fast-growing online wedding services company). The deal is subject to standard closing conditions as well as regulatory clearances.
Matrimony.com is not only the market leader in online matchmaking, but it is also a pioneer in the Wedding Services business, with continuing investments and a portfolio of offerings that includes WeddingBazaar.com and Mandap.com. Matrimony.com will be able to greatly expand its presence in the North and West as a result of this agreement.,strengthen its product capabilities and become the largest Wedding Services player across the country.
ShaadiSaga, which was founded in 2015, is a key participant in the wedding services sector, with over 40,000 merchants offering a variety of services and serving customers in 15 main cities around the country.
