IndiGo, India’s largest airline, has officially commenced operations from the newly inaugurated Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMI), marking a major milestone in the country’s aviation network. The first IndiGo flight landed at NMI from Bengaluru on the morning of December 25, 2025, followed by its first departure to Hyderabad shortly after.
Expanding Horizons: IndiGo’s Initial Network from NMI
As part of its first operational phase, IndiGo will connect NMI to 13 major destinations across India, significantly boosting travel options for passengers in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Daily flights: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Cochin, Delhi, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Nagpur
