Indian Pickleball League Partners with Adani Group as Powered By Partner for Inaugural 2025 Season

Adani Group

In a milestone moment for one of the world’s fastest-growing sports, the Indian Pickleball League (IPBL) has announced a strategic partnership with the Adani Group, which joins as the Powered By partner for the league’s inaugural season. The collaboration brings together IPBL’s dynamic league model and Adani’s deep-rooted expertise in sports development to accelerate the rise of pickleball across India.

Launched by The Times Group, IPBL is India’s first and only national pickleball league sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), operating under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The debut season will take place from December 1–7, 2025, at the KD Jadhav Indoor Hall, Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi. Featuring city-based teams, the league will showcase top Indian and international pickleball athletes in a fast-paced, broadcast-ready format designed to build nationwide excitement.

A High-Impact Partnership for a Fast-Rising Sport

As pickleball gains popularity globally as a participation-first, high-engagement sport, IPBL’s partnership with Adani reinforces its goal of establishing a modern, scalable, and fan-centric sporting property. The collaboration arrives at a pivotal time, with India emerging as a strong contender on the global pickleball stage.

Sameer Pathak, President – Pickleball World Rankings (A Times Group Company), said:
“We are delighted to welcome the Adani Group for IPBL’s debut season. Their dedication to nurturing Indian sport aligns with our ambition to scale pickleball with the structure, visibility, and ambition it deserves. Together, we aim to elevate the sport’s journey and set the stage for a league that reflects the energy and potential of a new India.”

Sanjay Adesara, Chief Business Officer, Adani Sportsline, added:
“The Adani Group is proud to support the debut edition of the Indian Pickleball League. Pickleball is among India’s fastest-growing sports, and our association reflects our commitment to nurturing emerging talent and building world-class sporting ecosystems. We believe the IPBL has immense potential to scale nationwide and inspire a new generation of athletes.”

Adani’s Sporting Vision Meets IPBL’s Ambition

The Adani Group continues to be a major force in India’s sporting landscape through investments in grassroots training, athlete development, and infrastructure. IPBL’s competitive, high-visibility league format aligns with Adani’s mission to strengthen sports from the foundational level while supporting emerging athletes.

Pickleball’s momentum in India has surged following the country’s standout performance at the Pickleball World Cup 2025 in Florida, where Team India won 25 medals (8 Gold, 8 Silver, 9 Bronze) and secured 7th place globally, becoming the only Asian nation in the top 10.

A New Era for Pickleball in India

Backed by the Adani partnership, the inaugural Indian Pickleball League aims to deliver a modern, high-energy sporting experience for fans, athletes, and broadcasters. Both organisations are committed to building a long-term ecosystem that firmly establishes pickleball as India’s next major participation-driven sport, accessible across demographics and regions.

As the countdown to December begins, the IPBL is poised to redefine India’s sports culture with a format built for excitement, growth, and global appeal.
