Oriflame Appoints Robert Bensoussan as Chairman to Lead Next Phase of Growth

Swedish beauty and wellness giant Oriflame has announced the appointment of Robert Bensoussan as chairman of Oriflame Holding and Oriflame Investment Holding PLC, marking a significant leadership move as the company prepares for its next phase of growth. The appointment will take effect upon completion of Oriflame’s ongoing recapitalisation process, expected later this year.

With a strong background in global consumer brand leadership, Bensoussan brings decades of experience in scaling and restructuring premium brands. He has previously served as CEO of Jimmy Choo, chairman of Feelunique.com, and held board positions at Interparfums and Lululemon. His strategic insight and track record position him to steer Oriflame’s renewed focus on sustainable, long-term growth and innovation.

Alexander af Jochnick, who will continue to serve on the Board and remain actively engaged in shaping Oriflame’s strategic direction, said:

“I am delighted to welcome Robert as chairman at this pivotal moment for Oriflame. Having secured the terms of the recapitalisation, our focus is now on operational transformation and supporting our global community of Beauty Entrepreneurs.”

Reflecting on his appointment, Robert Bensoussan said:

“It is a privilege to join Oriflame at a time when the foundations for a sustainable future are being reset. The new investment from the af Jochnick family and long-term investors strengthens the company and provides a strong runway for growth. This will enable us to invest further in product innovation and in our Beauty Entrepreneur community.”

Adding to the announcement, Anna Malmhake, CEO of Oriflame, highlighted the company’s renewed momentum post-recapitalisation:

“With the recapitalisation providing a stable platform and a de-levered balance sheet, we can now focus on accelerating our transformation plan. With Robert’s experience and the Board’s support, we aim to continue our legacy of innovation and empower our Beauty Entrepreneurs to thrive.”

As Oriflame advances into its next chapter, the company remains committed to its model of purpose-driven entrepreneurship, with a growing emphasis on expanding its footprint across Tier 2 and Tier 3 Indian markets. This aligns with Oriflame’s vision to empower its global network of Beauty Entrepreneurs through innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity.
