Amazon Music appoints Vivek Kataria as brand lead to strengthen marketing and consumer engagement

Amazon Music India has named Vivek Kataria as its new brand lead, a move that underscores the platform’s focus on expanding its consumer base and deepening engagement within India’s fast-evolving digital entertainment landscape.

Kataria brings over a decade of experience in brand marketing across the FMCG, wellness, and entertainment sectors, having led several prominent consumer brands at both national and global scales.

Before joining Amazon Music, Kataria held senior marketing positions at Britannia Industries, where he managed the Good Day and Tiger portfolios. He also served at The Kraft Heinz Company, overseeing key brands like Complan and Heinz Tomato Ketchup.

His earlier roles include leading marketing and brand initiatives at GNC India, Zydus Wellness (Sugar Free), and Adani Wilmar (Fortune Rice Bran Health).

With expertise spanning brand identity, communication strategy, and digital marketing, Kataria has built a career focused on creating high-impact consumer brands. His appointment comes at a time when Amazon Music continues to strengthen its brand positioning and user engagement strategy in India’s competitive streaming market
